Field Day 2009
Field Day 2009
I received word from Wal-Mart today. We are good to go for Field Day 2009. We can set up June 26th and tear down the 28th. So let's start making plans now on how we want to set things up.

Field Day 2009
Thought there was a more recent post than these about Field Day, but couldn't find it... but I wanted everyone to know that I posted our Field Day site location on the A.R.R. L.'s "Field Day Site LOCATOR"

ALSO:::
Can we get some input from those wanting to participate in field day? concerning if we want to stay with the "F" (EOC) designator, or return to the "A" designator. If we go (back) to "A" we can keep our "2A" category, and also have an additional (FREE) dedicated VHF/UHF station. That might be nice... (?)
ALSO:: I'd like to plan for an "ALL OUT" Public Awareness "BLITZ" complete with an actual "GOTA" station.
If the 'CW' station is not being used for CW, then I'd like to see it churning out
DIGITAL contacts... (PSK, RTTY, or whatever)
Let's get some discussions going on FIELD DAY 2009.
There's rumor about a "pulled pork" sandwich being available... any more info on THAT ?
