Hello all, greetings from Bozeman.
I am asking for volunteers across the state to help with communications for the Tour de Cure Bike ride, TdC. The event is on September 17, 2011. It consists of four bike rides of 6, 23, 56, and 100 miles to benefit the American Diabetes Association.
If you are a NEW HAM, this is an excellent way to get on the radio and practice basic comm skills for am emergency. We have a complete manual and will hold pre ride meetings to make sure you know exactly what to do.
If you are an OLD (opps SEASONED) HAM, well come along and join the fun. Each station is approximately 3-4 hours long.
Whether you are new or seasoned, We will have a great time. Email me at jerry.gregoire@yahoo.com, please include the words 'tour de cure' in the subject line. I will need a current email and phone number. I will periodically send out emails leading up to the event.
Also, the Tour will reimburse you for your gas!

PS: It would be great to have people from my home town, I grew up on 6th and 34th near the big water tower. Dare I say go Bison?!
