I just got an HF rig set up - a Yaesu 857D with power supply. I have an antenna tuner finally and am in the process of getting it in the loop. It's my first time with one and I had all kinds of fun hanging the antenna tower. Anyway, it's all up now and I'd like to get a more experienced operator's opinion. I'm having trouble receiving on anything other than 40 m using a G5RV, and I suspect it could be a balun/choke issue, but I'd appreciate any help. If you're available evenings or weekends and have 30 minutes or so, I'd be more than happy to make it worth your time.
