Anyone experiencing are heard the carrier noise on 3.912.5 on Oct 21st?
On my Hustler 6-BTV, I have it nearly 40 over S9. AE7HW has it near the NWS Office at 20 over S9. Even when attenuated, its 20 over S9.

I originally suspected the third harmonic from a AM radio station. The one that comes to mind is 1310 KEIN however that works out to 3930. I have heard this before and had others talk about it as well. However this would not seem to be the case here. Is the signal still there or did it go away. Check and see if comes back at a particular time of day too, it still could be a harmonic from a non local AM station when the conditions are right.

Thanks for the response. The interference did disappear after that single night. It was unbelieable to have a 40 over signal on FM, LSB and AM with the same dead carrier interference. It was steady with no deviation. But has since disappeared. Like I sayed, seemed as though someone's radio was keyed up without a mic attached.
