SDR (Software Defined Receiver)

Howdy gang,
Not sure if anyone out there are using a SDR for experimenting. I picked up a NOOELEC SDR that covers 25mhz to 1.7 GHZ and having having a blast. I use the SDSharp program with the SDR and just found this neat little program for free that copies live data off the NOAA balloons that are launched daily.
For $30 I have had so much fun with the newer Version 2 that it should not be allowed. I was given a Discone Antenna (Tks NQ7L Jim in Billings) that works very well covering the SDR frequency range. I have copied aircraft live flying over Montana, ISS packet, terrestrial packet, use it as a scope to check deviation, etc.
Here is a link with information on how to copy the balloons launched from NOAA sites around Montana.
