GM gang - I hooked up my Kam XL TNC and set up my ICOM706 on HF 300 Baud Packet 14105 LSB x band to my Alinco VHF 1200 baud packet on 145.010 for the Holidays. I sent several Holiday Greetings packet emails to stations around the country (Missouri, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) and have received several. Just putting it on the air to pass on spread a little joy and happiness around the Amateur Radio community in hopes of staving off for a little while hate, discontent, name calling, political infighting, and I am right and no matter what you say your wrong.. Your welcome to continue after Christmas. A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Bill in Helena, Mt. Hi Jim and also a big hi to Wanda.

I got back home today from helping a volunteer fire department chief get some special frequencies in his two radios and I had three messages in the HF mail Box. There is a lot of Christmas cheer going on out there.. Woo Hoo !! I practiced my most favorite Christmas song The Little Drummer Boy on the 12 string and I am now ready for Christmas Eve. "A new born king to see Pa rum pum pum pum" .

I am in an apartment bldg so no antennas for HF...have to
depend on other stations for 14.105, but my station is "alive"
24/7 and you can get to me using KB0WSA,KB9SOZ, KB9UNZ,
VA3HRA, or W9ABA. Come by any time...your signal is always good
on 14.105. Thanks again for the contact, and hope to see you manyt
