A new Google Group 'Montana Hams' was created May 3,2018. This is a private group open to all Montana hams. Please join and use.

I did a search but did not find any "Montana Hams" at Google Groups.

I'm not quite certain what the purpose is of a new Google Group for Montana Hams. This site offers to host any Montana ham radio group/club, plus we have a variety of forum topics for people to ask questions. Isn't creating a new "Google Group" for Montana hams just reinventing the wheel? What am I missing?
