Amateur Radio License Plates in Montana
Amateur Radio License Plates in Montana
Just a note to those Montana hams who have Amateur Radio license plates. For the third year in a row, when I went to the DMV at Great Falls to renew my vehicle registration, I had to prove that I had a current and valid Amateur Radio license. I always carry a laminated copy of my license in my wallet, so it was not a problem. The clerk checked the call sign and the expiration date on the license. Now that the FCC does not mail out paper copies, it is necessary to go to the FCC web site and download a copy of your license for situations such as this.
