Spring Thaw 8 Swap Meet in Great Falls

The Great Falls 2023 "Spring Thaw" Swap-meet is coming!

Date: Saturday, 06 May 2023
Time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: Cascade County DES Building
521 1st Avenue Northwest
Great Falls, MT
(in the parking lot BEHIND the building. Use the gate entrance from 6th Street NW)
Tailgate swap meet. No cost to attend or to sell!
Coffee and light refreshments will be available.
Additional activities include:
-Equipment Test Station: 12-volt power supply, watt meter, and dummy load so you can test basic radio functions and power output.
-All About Amateur Radio: Bruce (KA2ODP) will have his display and information on how to get your Amateur Radio license.
-7th Call Sign Area QSO Party: Ken (W7WOF) will have the AE7OC HF station operating and participating in the QSO party.
-Slow Scan TV over VHF FM Radios: Demonstration by Nolan (K0HAA). Bring your 2-meter FM handheld and a smart phone. (at 0915 hrs.)
-WinLink Demonstration: presented by Brian (KI7VDO). All about how WinLink works. (at 1015 hrs.)
-Transmitter Hunting Basics: presented by Rex (N7RAC). Learn the basics of tracking down transmitters, also called "Bunny Hunting". (at 1115 hrs.)
