OK Nikki, that is correct now who did he work for (what company) and what year did he apply for the patent?

Ok Nikki says (lol) he worked for Bell Telephone and applied in 1915 for the patent

Well partially correct. 1915 was the year he applied for the patent, however my sources tell me he worked for a different company. I still have one more part to the question, but I'll save it for later.

wait i looked agian and i found that he was a teacher for princeton university and then for at&t so forget what i said before

Well the records I have show him working for a different company at the time.... However after further scrutinization, I find that AT&T was the parent company. J.R. Carson actually worked for Western Electric which was a manufacturing arm of AT&T. Ok next question, When was the patent actually issued for SSB? We know he filed for the patent in 1915....

Neither is correct but you are close so I'll tell you, the patent was issued in 1932 17 years after he first applied for it!
