I have no affiliation with the folks, just happened upon them when looking for parts for a new-to-me HDBX40 tower.
ChinookDistributing.com in Cascade, MT sells wind turbines made in Montana.
That's interesting and has some appeal, but to support the installation of their wind turbines, they are also a Thomas Shelby BX tower dealer, and have 40' BX towers in stock, already in Cascade.
I'm waiting to hear more about the HBX or HDBX variety and combinations (and a single-unit price and freight for a BX8 lower, the concrete stubs, and hardware that I'll need).
The BX towers are limited to 6 sf (@64ft), HBX 12 sf (@56ft), and HDBX 18 sqft (@48ft) though all varieties are restricted to a 10' boom, which hampers the installation of that monster HF yagi you were hoping for.
Cliff KC7QLM (SK), in Helena, got around this limitation by running ~50' of mast down to a ground mounted rotator, removing the twisting torque from the top of the tower (the reason it's limited to 10' booms).
Food for thought, anyhow. Cascade is a short trip, and the towers sections are 8' long and nest inside of each other for transport, so a long box pickup would do the job.

Re: Tower dealer in Cascade
That may be good to know. There are a bunch of folks in Great Falls looking for towers. Thanks for the info:
Re: Tower dealer in Cascade
I forgot to note that the towers are self-supporting - no guy wires running around your yard.

Good picture thanks for sharing.
Re: Tower dealer in Cascade
I had an HDBX-48 at old house in Riverview. It was a great tower for my uses. I had the tribander, and an 11 element 2 meter on it, and it did great. However in this windy country I would NOT recommend anything less than the HDBX models...
