Winter Social Dinner on 11 January 2014

Hi Folks,

The date for the annual Winter Social is fast approaching. The Winter Social is open to all Amateur Radio operators and gives us a chance to visit with fellow hams from all over north central Montana. It will be on Saturday evening, 11 January 2014, starting at 6:00 PM. The restaurant location this year will be “Clark & Lewies”, which is in the O’Haire Motor Inn at 17 7th Street South, right here in downtown Great Falls. The cost will be $20 per person, with a choice of honey glazed salmon and/or BBQ ribs. It will be served buffet style, so both main courses will be available if you cannot make up your mind - or simply prefer to try both. Advance reservations are needed, so if you are interested in attending please let us know. We need to know how many people will be attending and what main course they would like (to ensure enough of each one is available). As the date gets closer, we will also be taking sign-ups during the Thursday evening ARES net. We need to finalize the attendance list by Friday, 3 January 2014 and notify the restaurant as to the specific number of people attending and their dinner choice.

Hi Bruce, just an added note. Social hour begins at 5pm and the Winter social is being held in the Big Sky Room located on the lower level. To gain access, park in the large parking lot located on the east side of the building, Enter through the door on that side of the building take the stairs or elevator to the lower level. See everyone there!

Update..... For those attending the winter social, there will be a Chinese gift exchange. If you wish to participate please bring a gift not to exceed $10 in value. See you there!
