GFAARC Spring Thaw III Swap Meet, 22 April 2017

Winter has ended so it’s time to quit hibernating. Crawl out of your den and come join your fellow Ham’s on Saturday, April 22rd from 9 AM till 1 PM for Coffee, Lunch, and a Swap Meet.

The Great Falls Area Amateur Radio Club will hold this event at the Cascade County DES Office, located at 6th St NW and 1st Ave NW in Great Falls. There is no cost to sell, so clean out your shack of unneeded gear. Outside Tailgating is the preferred method, so bring your small table if you need to display anything.

This year we will serve jumbo beef hotdogs, chips and a drink for $5.00. Everyone who buys a lunch will also get a ticket for Prize drawings near the end of the event. You must be present to win.

This would also be a great time to introduce friends to Amateur Radio.

Our existing DES station will be open for view and we will also have training displays set up to educate non-Ham’s on our hobby.

N7YO/Jim Cummins will present a special presentation on the Yaesu System Fusion Digital Amateur Radio and the Shark RF digital interface device.
