Antarctica Adventure

Howdy from Bill K7MT,

I posted a few pictures of my Antarctica Adventure at: http://www.mt.net/~k7mt . I will post a couple pictures of the Ham Radio Station at McMurdo KC4USV this weekend. I had the chance to get the station back on the air while at McMurdo and had a blast working folks around the world. I am ready to head back down October this year and will again be back on the air from McMurdo and adding digital modes and re-activating the IRLP node. National Science Foundation likes the idea of the school contacts I did on Echolink this last trip. I sure enjoyed chatting with 4 - 8 graders and their excellent questions..

Good to see this forum Jim and I will participate from here in Montana and while at McMurdo next season so folks will know when and where I will be on the Radio.

Take me with you to Antartica!!!! Surely they need other gubment employees for missions or just to make contacts via ham radio all day.
