HB 148

Post by n7ptm »

HB 148 passed the MT House 100-0 today. Of interest to hams are the new sections (2, 3 and 4).

http://laws.leg.mt.gov/legprd/law0203w$ ... SESS=20131

Basically, local governments can't ban the use of ham radios while in a vehicle (moving or not), and can't establish a maximum antenna height limit of less than 100 feet.

Now it goes to the Senate.

HB 148 was signed by the Gov. today; it is now the law.

Text that's underlined is what's new.
